Sabian describe themselves as “the modern, innovative cymbal maker with traditional roots”. They design and produce award winning cymbals that are played by top drummers as Jack DeJohnette, Mike Portnoy, Dave Weckl, Chad Smith and Neil Peart, as well as percussionists Evelyn Glennie DBE, Bob Becker, Ney Rosauro, Li Biao and Dennis DeLucia, to name just a few. They all prefer the huge range of unique and personal sounds offered by SABIAN.

SABIAN was founded in late 1981, when Bob ‘Sabian’ decided to create better cymbals. Unhappy with the choice of cymbals available at that time, he launched SABIAN. Sabian cymbals are made in New Brunswick, Canada.
